In the place where the German letter "ß" originated in 1667, J. E. v. Seidel printed the first "ecumenical" Bible translation as of 1810. Prof. Höller founded the magazine "Language in the technical age" (Sprache im technischen Zeitalter) in 1961 and the literary archive in 1977. The cultural hall "Historical printing plant Seidel" (Historische Druckerei Seidel) has been its "brother" since 2011.
